Norfolk County Public Library Board

THAT the agenda be approved as presented.

THAT the NCPL Board adopts the Minutes of the April 24, 2024 Board meeting as presented.

THAT NCPL Operations Monitoring Report April 2024 #24-05-01 be received for information; AND THAT the Library Board approve the report as presented.

THAT HR-06 - Payment of Job-Related Expenses Policy be approved.

THAT OP-02 - Safety, Security and Emergencies Policy be approved as amended.

THAT OP-09 - Community Information Policy be approved.

THAT OP-19 - Book Promotion Policy be approved.

THAT NCPL Board Report #24-05-03 be received for information; AND THAT NCPL Board approve the report and recommendations to conduct an organizational structure review; AND THAT NCPL Board approve $25,000 from the Public Library Operating Grant (PLOG) which is from the Government of Ontario through the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport for this purpose.

THAT NCPL Board Report #24-05-04 be received for information; AND THAT NCPL Board approve the report and recommendations to use the Library’s County Library Reserve to support the Waterford Retrofit Project in the amount of $134,000.

THAT NCPL Board Report #24-05-05 be received for information; AND THAT NCPL Board approve the report and recommendations the redevelopment and redesign of the library’s website; AND THAT NCPL Board approve up to $40,000 of the Library’s County Library Reserve for the purposes of redevelopment and redesign of the library’s website.

THAT By-law 2024-05LIB being a By-law to confirm the proceedings of the Norfolk County Library Board at this Regular Board Meeting held on the 29th day of May 2024 be approved.
