Norfolk County Public Library Board

THAT the agenda be approved as presented.

Kearney-Bourque THAT the NCPL Board adopts the Minutes of the November 23, 2022 Board meeting as amended.

THAT the Board elects a Board Chair, Vice-chair, and appoint a Secretary Treasurer according to NCPL Procedural Bylaws and Public Libraries Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.44, Section 14: First Meeting.

THAT the Board elect Don Kearney-Bourque as Chair of Norfolk County Public Library Board.

THAT the Board elect Amanda Van Schyndel as Vice-Chair.

THAT the Board appoint NCPL CEO Julie Kent as Secretary Treasurer.

THAT the Board establishes Board Committees and Terms of Reference for each committee. AND THAT the Board appoint by resolution Board members to each committee.

THAT the Board appoint Don Kearney-Bourque, Jennifer Schooley, and Sue Defreyne to the Strategic Planning Committee.

THAT the Board appoint Carolyn Nordheimer, Amanda Van Schyndel, and Kayla Baum to the Policy Development and Review Committee.

THAT the Board appoint Lisa Marr, Councillor Kim Huffman, and Sue Defreyne to the Facility Planning Committee.

THAT the Board appoint Amanda Van Schyndel, Carolyn Nordheimer, Tom Masschaele to the Human Resources Committee.

Schyndel THAT the Board appoint Lisa Marr, Sue Defreyne, Don Kearney-Bourque to the Finance Committee.

THAT the Board directs the CEO to notify Norfolk County HR to implement the economic wage increase to staff as per approved 2023 Operating Budget.

THAT The Board directs the Chair to provide the Library CEO with a letter stating that CEO's salary will increase.

THAT the Library Board will meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 4:30 p.m., with the exception of July and December.
