Haldimand and Norfolk Housing and Social Services Advisory Committee

Stephanie Rice, Director of Social Services and Housing on behalf of Acting General Manager of Health and Social Services Bill Nolan advised that there are no updates from May 29, 2023 Health and Social Services Advisory Committee meeting and all reports have been approved as presented.

That the committee proceed into closed session at 9:32am, pursuant to section 239(2)(b) of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, to address a matter that pertains to an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees.

That committee reconvenes in open session at 9:45am.

THAT the Information Memo regarding the Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care Program be received as information.

THAT Council accept the information report HSS-23-033 regarding the Community Paramedic and Social Services and Housing Outreach Pilot as information.

That report HSS-23-043 Association of Local Public Health Agencies 2023 Annual General Meeting Resolutions be received as information.

THAT report HSS-23-044 Board of Health Orientation and Education Sessions be received and that Haldimand County and Norfolk County Clerks department collaborate to organize Education sessions for Members to attend.

THAT the Information Memo regarding the Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit (HNHU) Risk Management Registry Update HSS-023- 037 be received as information.

THAT report HSS-23-035, Seasonal Housing Update 2023, be received for information.
