That the Notice provisions for a Notice of Motion in the Procedural Bylaw be waived to allow consideration at this meeting of motions to reconsider resolutions related to the Amplify Norfolk Grants passed at the February 28, 2024 Economic Development Advisory Committee meeting. Having achieved a 2/3 vote this motion was,

That EDAC resolutions number 9 regarding the Beer Stock grant application, number 10 regarding the Port Dover Board of Trade grant application, Number 11 regarding the award of a second $40,000 grant dated February 28, 2024, respecting Amplify Norfolk grants be reconsidered. Having achieved a 2/3 vote this motion was,

That the Port Dover Beer Stock be the recipient of the $20,000 grant from the 2024 Amplify Norfolk Grants Program.

That Port Dover Board of Trade be a recipient of a $40,000 Grant from the 2024 Amplify Norfolk Grants Program.

That the main motion be amended by changing “the second $40,000 grant” to read “any further Amplify Norfolk Grant”

That Economic Development Advisory Committee being the selection committee for the 2024 Amplify Norfolk Grants Program, choose not to award any further Amplify Norfolk Grants.

That EDAC resolution number 12 regarding the Amplify Norfolk grants dated February 28, 2024, be reconsidered. Having achieved a 2/3 vote this motion was,

Reconsidering EDAC Resolution number 12 dated February 28, 2024: That as the Selection Committee for 2024 Amplify Norfolk Grants, the following are recommended: a) $20,000 grant recipient - Port Dover Beer Stock b) $40,000 grant recipient - Port Dover Board of Trade
