THAT the minutes of the Tourism and Economic Development Advisory Board meeting of January 25, 2022, be approved as presented.

THAT the presentation provided by Aren Plante, Committee Coordinator, regarding Work Plan Development be received as information.

THAT the Work Plan be amended to include inviting Brett Schuyler to a future Board meeting to provide a presentation regarding the Foreign Workers Program.

THAT a Promotions Sub-Committee be formed with the following members: 1. Kristine Carey 2. Wanda Heimbecker 3. Michael Bollert 4. Alternate: Councillor Martin With a mandate to recommend twelve initiatives for staff in the Economic Development Department and Communications Department to highlight in communications each month to regarding the Year of the Garden.

THAT the update provided by Councillor Martin regarding the Year of the Garden be received as information.

THAT the update by Kevin Klingenberg, Deputy Clerk, regarding Advisory Committee Recommendations to Council be received as information.

THAT the update provided by Zvi Lifshiz, Director of Economic Development and Strategic Initiatives, regarding Economic Development Initiatives be received as information.

THAT the Information Memo regarding the proposed Board meeting dates and times be received as information; AND THAT the proposed dates and times of Tourism and Economic Development Advisory Board meetings be approved.

THAT the meeting be adjourned at 6:09 p.m.
