THAT the agenda be approved with the following amendment: Add Agenda item 8.2 discussion re: Norfolk County Archives Discussion

THAT the minutes of the September 25, 2023 meeting be accepted as presented.

THAT Chair Barb Boyko write a letter offering the assistance of the Norfolk Heritage Committee regarding ongoing preservation of historically significant buildings located at the Backhouse Historic Site to be sent to the Backhouse Museum Committee and by extension to the Long Point Conservation Authority.

THAT the discussion by members regarding the Vittoria Town Hall be accepted as information.

THAT a meeting date be set for the Places of Worship sub-committee.

THAT Committee member, Mary Caughill, proceed with researching and authoring a Statement of Cultural Significance for the Norfolk Hotel/Tavern to be reviewed at a future meeting.

THAT the information provided regarding the Vittoria Dam Class Environmental Assessment be accepted as information.

THAT staff request a copy of the evaluation tool and the Cultural Heritage Review so that it can be reviewed by the Norfolk Heritage Committee.

THAT the sash locks, without the white bead, in the oil rubbed bronze finish along with the sash lifts in the same oil rubbed bronze finish be installed at the Norfolk County Archives.

THAT the next meeting be held November 27, 2023 at 9:30 a.m.
