That CS-23-169 Proposed 2024 Rate Supported Operating Budget and all attachments be received as information; and That the 2024 Rate Supported Operating Budget, with a Net Rate Requirement of $29,627,800 be approved; and That any 2023 surplus or deficit generated from Water and Wastewater Operations as of December 31, 2023, be contributed to or offset from the appropriate Water or Wastewater Reserve; and That the 2024 Water and Wastewater Rates, as presented on November 23, 2023 be approved and applied to all consumption occurring on or after January 1, 2024; and Further that Staff be directed to prepare a report for Council consideration analyzing all possible rate mitigation strategies to be adopted in 2025 and thereafter.
